We believe to the doctrines of God's sovereign grace which reveals that God has
ordained to save sinners through the preaching of the Gospel. We
glorify Christ in preaching and through preaching. We also glorify
Christ as we manifest the "new creature" to the world around us. We are
called to be separated from this world and called to be joined to Jesus
Christ. As we are more conformed to the image of Jesus Christ we will
be more unlike the world in our thinking and actions. Love (charity) is
perhaps the greatest distinguishing characteristic of a disciple of
Jesus Christ. We are called to love God and our neighbor. This means
loving the brethren and the lost around us. This is not just to be
spoken but demonstrated through our actions.
We encourage anyone reading these words who does not know the Lord Jesus Christ personally to consider what the Word of God says:
-
The whole world is guilty of sin before God (Romans 3:19). This means every individual is a guilty sinner (Romans 3:10, 23).
-
A person must be saved through Jesus Christ if they are going to go to heaven (Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.).
-
A person must repent of their sin and trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ for salvation (Luke 24:47, Acts 20:21).
-
In coming to Jesus Christ for salvation, He requires absolute surrender of "self" to Him (Luke 14:26-27, 33).
-
If you are burdened about your sin and are willing to repent
and believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins, then go to Him
for mercy. He will receive all that come to Him and save them (John 6:37).
Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. - I Timothy 1:17.
