Worship Service
Sunday morning is the heart of our church ministry as we come together to worship.
Our service typically includes singing, prayer, scripture readings and preaching. We
preach expositionally, with a blend of verse-by-verse and topical sermons. You can be
sure that the preaching from our pulpit will be from the Bible.

Youth Programs
At Northwoods Baptist Church, we believe in nurturing the faith and personal growth of our younger members. As a smaller congregation we are able to disciple and provide opportunities for service, growth in character, and the exercise of faith in a great God!
We provide a graded Sunday school program and other times for fellowship, worship, ministry, as well as fun and wholesome activities within a safe and nurturing environment.
By participating, young people gain a deeper understanding of their faith while also developing leadership and teamwork skills.
Community Outreach
Northwoods Baptist Church is deeply committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those around us. We love our neighbors where we are able. Our folk help with various needs in the community such as meals on wheels, food pantry, habitat for humanity, as well as occasionally helping those who have experienced loss or family troubles. On a wider range Northwoods has helped hands-on and financially with building and recovery projects at home and beyond our shores.
Our chief aim, however, is the Gospel. Through the year we attempt to preach the Gospel through live and online media, as well as holding services in rehab and nursing home facilities, preaching in the park, fair booth, Operation Christmas Child, and a Christmas program and dinner. We offer opportunities to connect, serve, and grow together in faith and service. Join us as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out with compassion and love.

Sunday School
Sunday School at Northwoods Baptist Church provides an intimate and engaging way to delve into the Scriptures and understand the Word of God more deeply. Open to everyone in the Rhinelander area, our age-graded classes meet regularly to discuss the Bible, reflect on its teachings, and apply its wisdom to our daily lives. Led by knowledgeable and passionate leaders, our Sunday School is a place of learning, questioning, and growing in our faith together.
Men’s & Women’s Breakfasts
Saturday morning prayer breakfasts are held monthly. This provides opportunities for
discipleship through group study, dialogue, prayer and fellowship.

Annual Sovereign Grace Bible Conference
Our Fall conference usually takes place on the 3rd weekend of September. It begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. There is no cost for the conference. Please be our guest for lunch and supper meals. There are 4 preaching services and a Q&A session Sunday morning. It is a great time for fellowship and spiritual encouragement. We also usually host a Winter Bible Conference in February.
